Who we are

Korva Growth ("Korva", "we", "us") is a marketing services business operated by Korvagrowth.ca.

We are responsible for the personal information in our care. Questions about this policy, or about your information, go to [email protected]

This policy explains what we collect when you visit our websites or book a call with us, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you book a call, through our booking page or a form on our site, we collect the name, business name, email address, phone number, and business location you provide, along with the date and time of the appointment and anything you write in a message field.

When you contact us by email, phone, or text, we keep the content of that correspondence and your contact details.

When you become a client, we collect the information needed to deliver our services. This is set out in our service agreement rather than here, and it includes business account access, performance data, and any customer lists you choose to provide us.

Automatically, when you visit our websites, we or our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent, and the site that referred you. This happens through cookies and similar technologies — see the cookies section below.

We do not collect payment card details on our websites. Payments, where applicable, are processed by a third-party provider that handles that information directly.

When you make a purchase or become a client, we collect the information needed to bill you and deliver our services — your billing name and address, the services you purchased, transaction and invoice records, subscription status, and payment history.

We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. Card payments are processed directly by our payment provider, who handles that information under their own security standards and privacy policy. We may receive limited details from them, such as the card type, the last four digits, and whether a payment succeeded or failed.

When you become a client, we also collect the information needed to deliver our services — business account access, performance data, and any customer lists you choose to provide us. How we handle customer lists you give us is set out in our service agreement.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

Schedule, confirm, and conduct the call you booked

Send you appointment reminders and confirmations

Answer your questions and respond to your enquiries

Prepare the audit or breakdown we discuss on the call

Provide and administer our services if you become a client

Send you marketing communications, where you have consented or where we are permitted to under Canadian anti-spam legislation

Improve our websites and understand how they are used

Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

We do not use your information for any purpose incompatible with the above without asking you first.

Consent

By submitting a booking form or contacting us, you consent to our collecting and using your information for the purposes described above.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected], subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide you with certain services.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages; it does not stop service-related messages if you are an active client.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it.

We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:

These providers are bound to use your information only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or lawful government request, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.

Where your information is stored

Your information may be stored and processed outside Canada, including in the United States.

Several of the providers listed above operate servers in the United States. Information stored there is subject to the laws of that country, and may be accessible to United States courts, law enforcement, and government authorities under those laws.

By using our websites or booking a call, you acknowledge this cross-border transfer and storage.

If you would prefer your information not be transferred outside Canada, contact us at [email protected] before submitting a form, and we will tell you what alternatives are available.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes it was collected, or as long as the law requires.

In practice: enquiries and bookings that don't become clients are kept for 5 years and then deleted. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for 5 years afterwards, to meet tax and contractual record-keeping obligations. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, organisational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — including access controls, encrypted connections, two-factor authentication on our systems, and limiting access to those who need it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you

Correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete

Withdraw consent to our use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits

Ask us to delete it, subject to our legal retention obligations

Ask how it has been used and who it has been disclosed to

Complain about how we have handled it

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

Cookies and tracking

Our websites use cookies — small files stored on your device — and similar technologies.

Necessary cookies make the site and booking system work. These can't be disabled.

Analytics cookies help us understand how people use the site, which pages get visited, and where visitors come from.

Marketing and advertising cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, if and when we run any.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of our site from working, including the booking form.

Marketing communications

If we send you marketing email, we do so in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Every marketing message identifies us, includes our mailing address, and contains a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly and permanently.

If you believe you have received a message from us in error, email [email protected] and we will remove you.

Children

Our services are for businesses. Our websites are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our sites may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Read their policies before providing them with information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with its effective date at the top. Material changes will be brought to your attention where reasonably possible. Continued use of our websites after a change means you accept the updated policy.
